Privacy policy
How FactorFox Software LLC handles personal information collected through factorevo.com. Written to describe what this website actually does, because a policy that describes something other than the site it sits on is not worth reading.

Scope of this policy
This policy covers the factorevo.com website only. FactorEvo is a FactorFox product, and the website is operated by FactorFox Software LLC.
It does not govern the FactorEvo platform. Information a customer loads into or generates within the platform, including data about its own clients, carriers, brokers and debtors, is processed under the customer agreement. In that relationship the customer is the controller and we act as a processor on its documented instructions. How the application handles personal information is described in our platform privacy notice.
Who we are
FactorFox Software LLC operates this website and decides why and how the personal information described here is processed, which makes us its controller. Our contact details are in section 11.
We sell software to factoring and specialty finance companies, not to individuals. Almost all of the personal information we receive through this site is business contact information about people acting in a professional capacity.
What we collect, and how
Information you choose to send us. This site has no forms. If you email us, call us or book time through our scheduling page, we hold that correspondence and whatever you choose to put in it. Meetings booked through the scheduling page are handled in the Microsoft environment we operate, under Microsoft’s terms for that service.
Technical information created by visiting. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server information for each request, which can include an internet protocol address, the requested address, a timestamp, a referring address and a browser user agent string. It is created by the act of serving a page and is used for delivery, security and diagnosing faults.
We do not ask for and do not want special category information, financial account details or anything about consumers. Please do not send us confidential information about your own clients, carriers or debtors by email before an agreement is in place.
Cookies, storage and consent
This website sets no cookies. It uses no advertising technology, no cross site tracking and no third party analytics, and it loads no third party scripts. Typefaces are served from our own origin, so viewing a page does not cause a request to another company.
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is kept in your own browser’s local storage under the key factorevo-theme so the site remembers it next time. It holds only the word light or dark, never leaves your browser, and clearing your browser storage for this site removes it.
If we ever introduce measurement or advertising technology that requires consent, we will publish a consent mechanism before it is enabled and update this section on the same day.
Why we process it, and our lawful basis
- To answer you and pursue the conversation that follows. Our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry made by a professional acting for an employer, or the steps you asked us to take before entering into an agreement.
- To keep the site available, secure and working. Our legitimate interest in operating our own infrastructure, preventing abuse and diagnosing faults.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations. Where we are required to keep records.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, and this website makes no automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept while a commercial discussion is live and for a defined period afterwards, so a conversation picked up later starts from what was actually said. Where a relationship becomes a customer relationship, the record moves under the agreement between our companies. Server request logs are kept for a short operational period and discarded on a rolling basis. Records we must keep for legal, tax or accounting purposes are kept for the period the law requires and no longer.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not disclose it to anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, and only as far as each one needs:
- Hosting and content delivery infrastructure, which serves these pages and holds request logs.
- Email, mailbox and scheduling services within the Microsoft environment we operate.
- Customer relationship tools that assign a person to answer you.
- Professional advisers, auditors and insurers, where they need the information to advise us.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
International transfer
We are established in the United States and serve customers in North America, Latin America, Europe, Australia and South Africa. Information collected through this site is processed in the United States and may be processed elsewhere by the providers above. Where personal information leaves the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area for a country without an adequacy finding, we rely on an appropriate safeguard, normally the European Commission standard contractual clauses with the United Kingdom addendum where relevant.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent where we relied on it, and to complain to your supervisory authority. We do not charge for exercising these rights and we do not treat anyone differently for using them. Write to us using the details in section 11 and we will answer within the period the applicable law allows.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the information described here is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs. How we approach security for the platform itself is described on our security page.
Children and changes
This website is for people acting on behalf of businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and where a change materially affects information already collected from you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
